Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Series 1
With looks that disguise its performance and capabilities this is also a car that will take you to the South of France in comfort. A true GT, the body shape of this car is well proportioned and is establishing itself as one of the models to have.
This is a right hand drive model with four gears and overdrive and was first registered in 1964 with the original log book in the name of a Mrs. B. Simpson. The car has a comprehensive history file that confirms its 50,000 miles and during its life it has been owned by three other people.
The car is presented in Rossa with a tan interior following a spend of around £50,000 in 2012 to the car’s interior and bodywork. The car is now undergoing a full engine out rebuild and the crank shows less than 1 thou wear, so has been polished and balanced with new bearings. The bores also show minimal wear, in keeping with the low 50,000 miles and have been de-glazed ready for new rings and lightweight pistons. The heads have been de-coked, valves lapped in and guides replaced and the head and block faces checked.
There will of course be a detailed photographic record of the work undertaken and once completed, the car will perform better than factory.
