Over 120 people attended, including members of the Aston Martin Owners Club and Hertfordshire Ferrari Owners Club. A 50 strong fleet of Ferrari, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Jaguar and other exceptional automobiles surrounded the newly completed premises.
The event allowed us to showcase the recently refurbished site with dedicated engine room, expanded 10-bay workshop space and expansive sales stock.
We saw many familiar faces and chassis numbers, and had the opportunity to meet a number of new aficionados, some of which attempted to test our Technical Officers', Matt Wilton and Attilio Romano, unrivalled depth of knowledge in Ferrari.
Phil Redpaths team carried out complimentary Spring inspections, whilst our Head of Sales, Mas, spent the day showing off a wide selection of marques from our sales stock; including and our recently finished concours level Aston Martin DB5 Vantage, a 1-of-8 right hand drive Maserati Sebring, the London Motor Show Ferrari 512BBi and recently detailed Ferrari 575 Superamerica. However, the showcase piece of the day was hard to miss, sitting with it’s nose nudged into the sunshine; an original Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Group IV by Michelotti, certainly a talking piece for our visitors.
All in all we couldn’t have hoped for a more successful day, the weather turned out, the cars turned out, and we had the chance to catch up with some old friends. For those of you who attended, thank you for coming, and for those of you who didn’t, see you next year?!
