A fantastic ‘barn find’ Aston Martin DB6 in Oystershell Silver with red leather and red carpets. An original RHD car and fitted from new with an automatic gearbox and power steering. Supplied with a copy of the original build sheet and substantial recent service history.
Supplied new in the UK in February 1968. Not much is known about this cars early life except that, despite being RHD, it was at sometime shipped to the USA. We have a Colorado state title from 1998 and know that it was around this time that it was brought back to the UK by The Old Racing Car Company in Wales. They sold the car in 1999 to the next owner. It was then subject to a to a detailed restoration including a full repaint and retrim to original colours. The car was in use until 2010 when it was parked up with a faulty water pump and left unused until purchased by ourselves. A new water pump, a new battery, a change of oil and filter, and quick carburetor/fuel system rebuild soon had the engine running again. The car drives well and with a little more work the car could be used as a rolling restoration.
